Title
[D7719N], Letter from Edward Hibberd Johnson to Thomas Alva Edison, July 5th, 1877
Editor's Notes
Very long but interesting letter -- Problems with phones -- gave preliminary rehearsal and it was heard throughout the hall to the great surprise of those who witnessed it -- want to make it special feature of the exhibition -- electromotograph telephone [what I presume is the musical or loud-speaking telephone] -- discusses strategy for publicity including little scientific notes or observations from TAE -- discusses establishing TAE's reputation
