- In receipt of TAE's two letters -- nothing could please him more than to write a book on telephone but has promised 10 books to 3 publishers and has no time -- why doesn't TAE write one himself -- Mr. Barnard is a literary man and could not do the work unless under guidance -- Pop. Sci. Monthly article on phono has been cut down but TAE will like what is left -- intends to send the article to France and Germany -- thinks it would be good to give another sketch of the new point which TAE found worked so well -- P.S. that a young man at Stevens named Brown Ayres would be competent to write the work on the telephone -- Morton wishes to order one of the small phonos
