Title
[D7829ZCF], Letter from George Harrison Bliss to Thomas Alva Edison, June 15th, 1878
Editor's Notes
On return to Chicago he turned over phono exhibit to the Illinois Edison Speaking Phonograph Association and lists members of same (includes prominent telegrpaphic folk including Elisha Gray and F.W. Jones) -- They pay Bliss 5% of gross receipts -- they claim great influence with press -- apparently Bliss forced into agreement with Illinois Co because of Phono Co -- rented a store in the Palmer House to exhibit and spent much on advertising
