Title
[D7913L], Letter from Grosvenor Porter Lowrey to Thomas Alva Edison, February 18th, 1879
Editor's Notes
"Can you make use of a sturdy strong boy:" Francis Jehl. "Although he has a rather awkward appearance, and manners, and is rather slow and might seem to some stupid, he is quite an intelligent, industrious, faithful, honest, high minded young fellow." Worked for PLS&S, now under Prescott at WU where "the men and boys are all flatterers of the foreman" and has no opportunity there to lean electricity.
