offer to explore NW mines <"send sample card. Ask how much money he would require to visit all the placer mines in Montana Idaho & the Neighborhood of Kootenai, where I understand the scales of platinum is so thick that the placer men can not sell their gold not using mercury to take it out= I believe the greatest deposit of platinum is in British Columbia. In washing with a pan sluice etc the scales of gold & platinum come down together ------ what do you propose">
