Received no replies to letters & assumed TAE displeased with progress in England so went to Paris. Explains serious technical problems with French phones. Exhibition of new receiver should "put a little life into the telephone" biz there. Surprised that TAE hasn't comprehended troubles from previous letters. Who is Herz? Offer from him. [Newsy but long.]
