Title
[D7940ZAP], Letter from Joshua Franklin Bailey to Thomas Alva Edison, July 7th, 1879
Editor's Notes
Receivers sent YET? Good time for public exhibit. Demonstrated from Ministry of Telegraph to Versailles. Worked well; Bell and Gower instruments failed completely. Experience with Charley "not satisfactory;" was in constant communication with Herz and broke contract to accept offer from H, doing "more credit to his legal acutenesss than to his sense of honour." Canceled marg: "Write Bailey say I want it understood that I am not responsible for anything that my nephew may do. I shall have nothing to do with him-"
