- TAE's of 23rd recd; extract in it another example of worthlessness of news reports. Just like your (falsely) reported criticism of Maxim. Reporter must have written from bad memory; cites errors. But you should see Maxim lights; makes carbon loops with "wonderful resisting power and durability.' Lamps intensely bright & durable. Priority: Maxim patent filed Oct 4 1878. USElectLightCo has asked him to run tests. [See 94:618 for Barker's quotes unfavorably comparing TAE lamp with Maxim's.]
