- We requested by telegram to purchase Light rights for Italy. This confirmed by Haid Mueller, a firm you are well connected with. "Evil reports" in Turin that TAE has no new system, as you'll see by enclosed clippings but we wish to go ahead; will supply proofs of earnestness. Hope for early reply. Ready to negotiate. Marg: "Write & say that all statements that the light is a failure are false. 11 house & one street lighted for past 4 weeks; say we have placed their communication in the hands of the Co who control the patent, & they will doubtless hear from them."
