- Title
- [D8048ZBU], Letter from John Henry Harjes to Thomas Alva Edison, April 1st, 1880
- Editor's Notes
- Encloses copy of yesterday's cable about signing with Puskas parties. Would never have accepted power of atty if I knew it would involve a tenth of the aggravation. Bailey to visit NY. Bailey's hard work and iufluence of Auberjon made me recommend them but they wouldn't agree to essential modifications. Bailey and Puskas both pleased with outcome. I tried to get for you immediate cash and development of teleph. Agreed to pay 5% to Auberjon principle, newspaper publisher, to secure his goodwill.
