[D8048ZFF], Letter from Charles A Kennerley Hall to Thomas Alva Edison, August 5th, 1880
Editor's Notes
Your attorney here, Bailey, borrowed 200 pounds from my client for telephone company negotiations. Most of it still due, but understand he's left Paris and has nothing more to do with your co. Please withhold any money you may owe Bailey. Marg: "Mr. Bailey is not my atty but was the attorney I think of a Tel Co in Paris. He has funds due him from this Co. His present address is in Plainfield NJ USA. I understant he is about to return to Paris."
