- Editor's Notes
- [from Geneva] Rcd today letter from London saying the United Co will write you about desertion of Rose & other Americans. The Co tried to put all the American boys on same footing as "the inexperienced & cheap English blackheads" so I found other positions for them. "If you don't approve their actions as well as mine my name ain't Johnson or yours Edison." You're probably making a new deal with GG2 but I'll take my chances. Too bad you're not here; the snow would do you good. To Paris, then leave Liverpool for NY 2 Aug.
