- On official head. " I thank you for your kind offer of some lamps in your favor of the 9th inst. I will do the best I can with them and if they do not do as well as they did at Menlo Park when I was there I will simply exhibit them and any thing else you may wish to send me. If you furnish me a Show Card I will hang it in a conspicuos [sic] place with them. Is there any way to modify the current of the Brush or Weston Dynamo Machine to make it suitable or how many cells would one require? What is the ohms resistance of a lamp?
