"A meeting of the stockholders of the Union & Middlesex Cos' Mut. Ag. Ass'n will be held Saturday Sept 24 at 6.30 P.M. on the grounds for the purpose of amending the by-laws so as to decrease the number of free tickets to which stockholders are entitled, such a course being necessary for the welfare of the Ass'n. I send a form of proxy which if you will sign return [inserted: by return mail] you will confer a favor"
