- Editor's Notes
- "I am preparing a paper on 'Ocean Currents', to be read before the 'Chicago Electrical Society' in November. I desire in this paper, to explain past & present methods for exploration of Ocean depths, and am advised that you have made experiments in this direction by the aid of your Electric Light. If Consistent, will you do me the favor, to give me such facts regarding your experiments, apparatus, etc, as you may choose to make public. I should feel honored in being allowed to present the same to our Society." [TAE note: "Say my only experiments have been on producing a submarine telescope I had drawings made but carried it no further as I had to drop the matter to attend to more important things")
