- Title
- [D8104ZET], Letter from George Edward Gouraud to Thomas Alva Edison, November 10th, 1881
- Editor's Notes
- "I yesterday instructed Drexels to pay you $10,000 on our general account. I was not aware until after I had some little talk with Johnson that your present need for ready cash was so urgent. As soon however as I learnt the requirements of your undertakings I cabled Drexels to pay you a sum exceeding that as to which we at present hold different opinions, confident that we shall be able to reconcile these with that same mutual satisfaction as has characterised all our past transactions."
