- Title
- [D8104ZFD], Letter from Mrs A G Stolbrand to Thomas Alva Edison, November 29th, 1881
- Editor's Notes
- Begging letter: recent widow of one of TAE's friends from his Cincinnati days.; wants $25 and Johnson's address. "Mr Edison you were one of my deceased husband's friends." Named their son Edward Edison Stolbrand. [maybe select; there's 11 total letters mentioning Stolbrand and/or his wife when doing name search, going back to 1874; also a brief mention in TAEB 2:207. Also, Johnson, Reiff, Painter, and TAE apparently intereceded in his behalf with Jay Gould in Aug. 1879 for free RR passage so he could return home to die. Seems like an interesting web of correspondence.]
