- Editor's Notes
- Can you meet Friday with John Townsend and myself. Yestdy's Tribune had long account of Townsend's "gutter conductor" which eliminates need to tear up street. "The interview I ask is one of considerable importance in the movements of your Company to get the right from the `City Fathers' to lay the wires. The terms they seek to dictate to your company for the franchise are simply preposterous. I think I can on Friday show you the way clear, to get the franchise." Marg: "Going to W tonight may not be back till Saturday. Can you not drop down Sunday pm for an hour or so."
