- Favorable reports regarding heating the clamps. Testing on pumps require several days b/c many variables incl. weather, state of the mercury and so on. Recording results of 50 pumps, esp. time they take to evacuate lamps. Work on building furnace progresses well. Plans on using plaster of paris for sockets.
