Draft contract: "proceed to build one standard Dynamo Engine. 125 hp 120 lbs steam with 50 pc power 350 rev. following later in strokewill have it done in 6 weeks from today--Engine will not exceed cost $2000 inclusive of everything If this Eng is satisfactory will give order for 24--if price is satisfactory + time wants $6000 advance on the 24 = Edison is to have the privilege of making all the Engines he wants that A&S can't make within time. = Don’t want anymore advance after furnish the 24 can pull along after that = wants all the work we have that day can do" Poss select; gives rough details of prime mover for first stations. dh 10sep02 Or use LB version: TAED LB008153.
