Title
[D8133ZBQ], Letter from Edward Hibberd Johnson to Thomas Alva Edison, December 31st, 1881
Editor's Notes
Having trouble convincing Bidwell and others that resistance as such is not a consideration in the economical conversion of energy into light per surface area from a carbon, "that is to say that with a given surface & a given current active on it the same light would be obtained whether the resistance was one ohm or a thousand." [seems a muddled discussion to me; dh 10dec02]
