Title
[D8134V], Letter from John D Townsend to Thomas Alva Edison, December 16th, 1881
Editor's Notes
Saportas "has been credibly informed" of two cables sent from TAE to Puskas. First reads: "Saportas is deceiving you and sacrificing your stock. Advise you put in better hands." Second: "You should absolutely withdraw your stock from Saportas putting it in reputable firm's hands. His action exceedingly displeases me and loss to you." Asks if TAE wrote this, and says Saportas wants a denial or explanation.
