Title
[D8135ZCJ], Letter from Charles Batchelor to Thomas Alva Edison, October 10th, 1881
Editor's Notes
"At last the 52 volt machine has gone completely." Thinks someone put gravel in it to sabotage. Can't use armature he sent: it's too long. Work at Opera is nearly done. "I received your telegram telling me to retain Lowery. I shall get another lawyer who speaks English and who has nothing to do with either Drexel Harjes and Co or Bailey and consult according to your directions." "The big machine will run tomorrow night."
