Enclosing a reply (D8144ZAW) to your letter and enclosed notice from TAE (not found). "I think I ask nothing but what is just, he says make the journal on a paying basis in two months. I ask for the means....." Could make it pay with capital as small as $1000 as subscriptions are increasing. Enclose 2 account statements (follow)---must payh bills. PS "It is a mystery to me how Mr Edison can expect me to run the Journal successfully without current funds in hands which I never have had."
