- Editor's Notes
- [10 page letter, mostly about electric light] Got yours of 14 June postmarked 9 July. Biz now OK---it's a regular business with 240 subscribers, increasing; handling 1200 to 1500 calls daily with only 3 or 4 complaints. Summarizes operations. Purchased all available shares and there are now no sellers. (p4) Too bad motophone too expensive to maintain in this climate; otherwise it's great. Still awaiting transfer of legal title for Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia. Reminds TAE of his hard work and faithfulness, then turns to E Light. Your promised it to me before witnesses, probably forgetting at the time you'd already disposed of it. You would not have received patents here but for me. Summarizes his position with respect to Kendall, to whom you gave interest in light, andsubsequent correspondence alluding to Husbands getting interest. Don't want to play second fiddle to Kendall, already have the city covered with wire. Receiving overtures from Brush Co. but can't serve two masters---hope to hear from you. [p2] Compania Chilena Telefonos de Edison our company is comprised of the best men in Chile -- see D8047ZAK1 for list of subscribers[ p 6] mentions LB006184 regarding rights of representation
