- Editor's Notes
- Writing on recent London Tel Co. You are entled to 1/2 profits, that is 1/2 dividends rcd from shares of United Co after Edison Co shareholders have received back their capital plus 5%. Waterhouse & others at time of amalgamation anxious to maintain Edison Co but this has changed. Shareholder petition to close down Co; must have settlement with you. Outlines proposals and recent negotiations. Court decision will probably be reversed. The order for liquidation will bring matters to a point. The only thing that redeemed shareholders was your patents, which Bell Co wanted; they shouldn't force agreement on you. I agree with Gouraud; think more that 20,000 can be gotten. United Co shares strong on market.
