- Editor's Notes
- Regarding sale of United Tele co shares described in other letter this date, I can't get money until I deliver the shares. Insull will explain how this works [sounds like he's selling shares he doesn't own yet, probably because allocation to London Tel Co shareholders is not yet final.] Thinks each London subscriber will get 27 United shares; think it should be higher. Too bad you didn't permit me discretion in sale of yours, as price has gone up since then. The next deal to make is European telephone; plan to bring out Co. simultaneously in Paris and London. Then will be finished with telephone and ready for ELight. Hope you've sent Thomson's lamps and are pushing equipment for London central station expt. [WHEN DID PLANNING FOR HOLBORN BEGIN?]
