Will give you TAE's explanations when received. FROM Hall 10 June: Thanks for yours of today. TO Hall 16 June: Letter just rcd from NY says Morris, who claims to act under power of atty from TAE, is probably acting under an old agreement with LeGendre, which is void. FROM Hall 18 June: Got more cables from Hong Kong. Co. has suspended action in HK because of Morris, but expenses continue. FROM Hal 16 June: Thanks for yours of today with inform from TAE. TAE must IMMDY cable MOrris withdrawing power; pls tell me when this done. TO Hall 22 June: whom should TAE cable, since he doesn't know who Morris is? FROm Hall 23 June: Send you resolution passed today by Oriental board; please wire TAE to cable H-K attys that his rights there rest with the Oriental Co. Resolution says TAE representatives to pay all expenses related to HongKong mess. TO Hall 24 June: Got yours of ystdy; cabled TAE as suggested. Shouldn't have to pay expenses. FROm Hall 30 June: Appears from your own statements that TAE gave rights to LeGendre, for whom Morris appears to be acting. [transcript continues]
