- Aspinwall, after inspecting the yacht, The "Arrow", which arrived in Barrytown at 8pm on the evening of the 8th, found the engine to be in bad shape, the stem very wear, and the anchor lost (which Insull has to replace). The bill is $463.06 (breakdown: 435.00 - rent, 11.00 2 tons chest coal delivered, .50 - steak, 3.11 - 1/2 potatoes, butter, sand & c., 12.85 - sand oil, waist, emery & c., .60 - 2 lbs. coffee)
