- Editor's Notes
- Arrived in London Aug 21st; TAE's folks are setting up quickly. Would like to have some interest in the electric light business. Asked TAE to a letter of recommendation. Going to Paris for a few days.[TAE replies: "I have your favor of 9th inst and should be very glad to give you the recommend you ask for if it were not for the fact that it is so long since I had anything to do with you & have no knowledge whatever of your career that it would be an injustice to my English friends to do what you desire without knowing anything of your capabilities"]
