Title
[D8207C], Letter from William Augustus Croffut to Thomas Alva Edison, January 6th, 1882
Editor's Notes
Enclose Labarchere's weekly verses from London's most famous Society Paper; has been in Europe and do not want to lose his shares in the Isolated Co. The Fall River line is building the largest steamboat in the World and he talked about putting TAE's lights on it. [TAE replies: "Much obliged for cutting from "London Truth" - The Isolated Stock was subscribed for many times over & that not taken Stock holders was allotted to outside parties it is therefore beyond my power to do anything for you in the matter"] The "Truth" clipping is included.
