- competition btwn Western and Brush lighting systems in Rochester. Western has been in operation 3-4 months; Brush for 3 wks. Brush seems to be better; several stockholders in gas are also now Brush stockholders. Says TAE should be represented in Rochester as well. Offers to display a lamp in his office, but unclear if it is to be lit or not. Cheney is an old telegrapher friend. TAE docket: "Thank him & send by express one 16 candle & one 8 candle lamp--get these from Harrington"
