- Editor's Notes
- Boxes with dynamo arrived yesterday; will pay bill when received, but make bill out to him not to college. Also wants 20 B lamps for use probably no more than 3-4 hours a week. Wants to know best rpm to operate machine; his engine does 180 rpm and he wants to drive dynamo from flywheel, giving 1600 rpm. Edison's comments: "The machine is a wound(?) 15 Light machine therefore good for 30 B lights it should run 2000 to get proper EMF if you give him low volt [---] 1700 or 1600 will do. give him what lamps [---] & charge co."
