"Referring to your favor of 1st inst relative to the defect reports, I would state that we have no desire to enter unnecessary of superfluous complaints in this book. If such errors have been made, it has been only through the desire on the part of all our employees to use every possible precaution in these matters, with a view to the general interest of the business."
