"Spencer Borden writes us that going to Boston in the cars, you promised to let im have one of your men to take the place of Francis whom we sent out West. Will you kindly advise me who that man is,as Mr. B.is anxious to get him." TAE: "will see about it = wy was Francis torn from business(?)" unknown hand: "Mr Moore says 'because he was needed for more important work'"
