- Hotel Vendome has installed arc lights on same engine as runs our lights. This has reduced our lights to 12cp. Using arc light for lighting front outside entrance; "I am very sorry we have no arc light to furnish them in connection with our system." Hammer in UK wants more Bulletins; but wants assistance fr Europeans who want them. "I think the 15 light dynamo is hardly a success." Letter fr Bliss saying that at least 1 plant thrown out. TAE: "It was never considered a success by me; we intended modifying it & will do so" Just rcvd French co.'s bulletin; every article but 1 taken fr my Bulletin. Paid Bliss $250 for rprt on using u/g power conductors for telegraph and telephone. Extract fr Brazilian paper on views of Emperor on arc and incandescent lighting. Kendall and Stewart in Chile want to pay less for lamps. TAE: "cant help that the Lamps are costing us $1" Rcvd pamphlet put out by London Co.
