Title

[D8238ZEM], Letter from Francis Jehl to Thomas Alva Edison, November 25th, 1882

Editor's Notes

Finished in Brunn but will stay few weeks to train men. Had to postpone opening because regulator not finished. Columbo came here from Milan to see complete theatre installation; after seeing our regulator he's gave up idea of using carbon and will use german silver. Dynamos OK now; one was crossed with base on arrival from NY. Running about 5 hrs/day for 12 days; have lost 150 lamps. Should I stay in Europe or come back to laboratory?
