Title
[D8239L], Letter from George Edward Gouraud to Thomas Alva Edison, January 28th, 1882
Editor's Notes
Your dynamos priced too high; can't compete with other mfgs. Will send you full list comparative prices. Don't have authority to assert superior economy of yours; and until then can't use the dynamos on hand except to fill orders for large isolated plants. In England, the more isolated plants we set up b4 organizing company, the better, so can use them that way. The Domestic Co., run by old friend, has lots of orders for theaters, hotels, etc.
