Title
[D8239ZAD], Letter from Francis Jehl to Thomas Alva Edison, February 26th, 1882
Editor's Notes
[from London] Arrived afternoon of 2/24. Surprised by how much Johnson has done. Think there's been more done here to quell public doubts and "harmonize scientific discords" than in NY. Briefly describs Holborn, also Crystal Palace. Entertainment Court, Concert Hall. Duke and Duchess at Edison exhibit nearly one hour ystdy; they tried to see Swan's but they went off.
