Title
[D8239ZEM], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Edward Hibberd Johnson, September 1882
Editor's Notes
[enclosure to D8239ZEL] MUCH EARLIER THAN SEPTEMBER; TRY TO DATE THIS MORE CLOSELY When you get there consult with Fabbri &c. See Siemens, ask if he thinks his English dynamo pat is valid and if so what royalty he wants from us on 60 light machine. "If royalty not over 50 on small & 150 on large we won't grumble." Think his patent invalid: no expert could wind it from specificaiton, also prior publication.
