- Yours of 10th rcd; will look forward to hearing from you as electric motor expts continue: "When our Yankee nations want anything they want it bad, and hence they never canrry any stock of patience." See Seiemens's statement in London that 6 pounds coal in generating steam power makes less power as 5 lbs would with electricity. Can scarcely believe this but "the wonders that has been produced in electricity during the past 5 years would almost justify us to expect anything; the demand for this new power is so great that I live with hopes of great results at no distant day."
