"There has been a turn in the Seyfert case which is decidedly bad for us." Took Lucy Seyfert's testimony ystdy. She swore she received note in dispute as part payment of debt by her husband in 1875. Also that on 31 Dec 1875, in reply to her letter, TAE sent her check for $300 on account of the note. She has promised to find copy of this letter and I expect it with every mail. If TAE really sent this money as part payment, "further litigation is useless." Please have this looked into ASAP; TAE must have copy of letter and cheque.
