- Would like TAE's opinion on the types of engines out in the market. [TAE replies: "The workmanship on the Armington & Sims engine is probably beter than my Engine made in the World. We never overhaul or do anything to these Engines. The Armington Card is better than the Porter. we have 3 porter & 3 Armington at the station. the Porter give endless trouble, No 2 Armington made got a run of 8 days continously without stopping are instant night or day at then made a run of 11 days 8 hours & the next run was 16 days 10 hours 340 Productions - 245 [?] horsepowers There is not [?] with new Existing Engine"]
