response to letters of June 28 and 29. "Edison says that he never bore you any illwill at all. We think the Yankees must have some spite against you." offers to meet with them to explain matters and show them around.(Why is unclear.) Danbury canvasser apparently did not visit them. Explains canvassers go in order of towns as they came in. special canvasser for their district not necessary.
