- send Conant (?) to Roselle to learn style of meter bookkeeping, will learn difference btw that and Pearl Street method. "As to giving him instructions in all bookkeeping required, I must confess that it is beyond the scope of my ability to give a man a liberal education in the course of twenty four hours." Sending Conant to Sunbury, will bring cups and wire for dynamos which Edison requested. Needs another canvasser, has a man in mind "will you trust to my judgement of his physiogemy?"
