- sends blueprint Hartford, wishes list of land for sale w/I marked area, outside circle okay for central station, "We do not want land in a prominent street where it is expensive, but in some back street or alley."; once info sent, estimate can be made for Hartford, do not purchase land until consulting him "as it very often occurs that the most expensive plot of ground is really the cheapest for our purpose, as owing to its location the cost of the underground mains and feeders are very much reduced"
