- telegraphed to find out who to ask about Bellefonte so he can proceed with estimate, same manner as Watsontown; "shall not allow estimate to be cut to pieces in the manner which that for Shamokin was treated"; must have capital "paid up and in the bank, before I undertake to build their station, as it is quite impossible for me to take the same course that I did in reference to Sanbury and Shamokin, where I find, much to my disappointment, I shall get by no means the cost of the plant paid for in cash"; should he sent to Williamsport or Cincinnatti
