Title
[D8316AOU], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Charles Batchelor, August 21st, 1883
Editor's Notes
reply to 8th, "I do not like to do what you suggest, namely, sell 54 shares of the stock of the Isolated Co. I am going to make another endeavor to borrow the money from someone, and if I should be successful and cable for a Power of Attorney to enable me to sign a call loan memo, you will know what it is for.# I do not think that I could get a bid of $50 for European stock. However, I will do the very best I can.."
