re letter sept 6, disapprove of Stuart's canvassing, should have expansion in mind # wish to see Cincinnati and Louisville plants, hears "excellent reports", too busy to "even run into the country for a few days to recuperate, notwithstanding the fact that I am very nearly 'played out' with hard work", hopes cold weather will improve constitution
