Title
[D8320B], Letter from Cyrus Fogg Brackett to Thomas Alva Edison, February 13th, 1883
Editor's Notes
"I have just had a proposition to act as an expert and advisor in the matter of storage batteries for the application of electricity to lighting. I have refused to have anything to say or do about it till I hear from you in regard to that question. Do you consider that there is any claim or binding obligation on me as respects that question? As I remember, the question of such batteries had not come up in relation to the Edison system of lighting and if so, it would seem that there would not be any impropriety in rendering any service I may be able to, espcially if you do not, and do not intend to make use of such batteries in your system." TAE: "no objection accepting retain on storage batty against everyone but Edison"
